Searching the PEG
Published April 9th, 2005 in Progress
I’ve knocked up a plugin for Firefox which lets you search the PEG from the search drop down ( next to the address drop down ). You can see what it looks like in the picture at the top of this page. To install it, download this file, extract the contents into the searchplugins sub-directory of your firefox directory and then re-start firefox. If you have a look at the contents of these plugins, you’ll see that they’re pretty easy to hack if you want to customise them.
With thanks to Scott M. Dulecki who contributed search plugins for the QAD and Symix PEG lists.
Hi Gordon,
This is really cool:
A) Another Progress Blogger
B) You Firefox plugin.
I tried to trackback to this site but it either didn’t work or you have an approval system in place.
I added you to my Progress Bloggers list and if you find any other’s let me know.
Best of luck.
Molly
Cheers Molly, I don’t know why you’re having a problem with Trackbacks, though. I’ve just checked the Wordpress settings and approval’s disabled for both trackbacks and comments. I’ll mess around with it and see what I can find.
There’s a strange irony at work here, though, what with you being a Progress tech support guy and me trying to fix your problem
Gordon
Yes, thats a good point. It could be the blogging system that I am using (MSN Spaces) as I have had trouble else where.
Keep up the good work.
Molly
